Theory postdoc on quantum networks implementations/certifications

A two-year postdoc position is available in the theoretical quantum optics group at the University of Basel, see http://qotg.physik.unibas.ch. Our aim is to lay the theoretical groundwork that is needed for implementing the first fully functioning quantum networks. In particular, we promote a scalable approach in which the proper functioning of each building block of quantum networks is certified before being combined. We are interested in certification techniques based on Bell tests as they hold independently of the details of the actual implementation. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative researcher interested in joining our group and collaborating with leading experimental groups. Knowledge in quantum optics/quantum information is appreciated.
