TID is the research branch of the Telefónica Group, a global network service provider with a direct presence in 25 countries. As such, it is in-charge of identifying and developing innovative solutions. The TID team started to work in quantum communications more than ten years ago, focusing on operation, management, and services.

TID will be part of QIA Technology Forum to contribute to discussions on networking aspects including full programmability, and to the definition and realisation of use cases related to the provision of innovative connectivity services and the enhancements of existing ones.
