SURF

SURF’s main expertise is in the development and operation of state-of-the-art networks and other high-performance IT services. The SURF Open Innovation Lab is involved in quantum activities, such as defining and supporting use cases for quantum application development, and developing and executing a fast and scalable simulator for quantum networks (NetSquid, in collaboration with QuTech).

SURF leads the Use Case Team, and is also involved in the optimisation of Netsquid for large scale quantum internet simulations through its participation in the Architecture Team.
